amateur boxing IS a sport as it appears in the Olympics FACT

it is not a barbaric pastime for thugs. that is football hooliganism. boxing (when controlled correctly) is a beautiful sport it takes physical strength and mental agility to be victorious something that some sports don't.

I'm on your side on this one. Teaching discipline and restraint is something every parent should do, boxing is good for that.

I don't agree.i do kickboxing and don't think I'm any more violent because of it,i feel safer now knowing i could kick someones *** if i got attacked.my son also goes to little samurai's.i think it helps them to channel their anger and energy in to something more positive than going around beating up everybody.
