No! You have to learn who you are and want to be before you can, try to learn what you want in someone else. 9th grade, you still have lots of time!!

Nobody NEEDS a man. Look at me, I'll be 30 in January and still am happily single. When the right guy comes along, you'll know you are ready. You will find plenty of guys that are Mr. Right Now, and you'll date them for a while, but don't be devestated when the time comes to move on. I've spent the last 10 years thinking that each guy was going to be my husband and the father of my children and I've finally come to accept that even though I'm 5 years away from the age where women's reproductive systems take a turn for the worse, that I just may never get married and have kids and that I should just enjoy my life for what it is.

Well i am in the 9th grade and I have been going out with a guy for about 2 months and we are very happy but some of my friends are single and happy. It all depends on you. No one else. You will know when you are ready to have a bf and if you are asking this question on yahoo answers than the answer is probably no.

Defintely not. When you're ready to date, then do it, but 9th grade is still young...I never dated until College, and I'm happily married now.

Need, no. (And that will continue to be true.) Enjoy, possibly, and probably so as you get older.
