fullmoonwolf4real has a point!
In today's society there really are no benefits to being legally married to more than one person! ~grin, ok, it's illegal, too!~ In fact, one of the reasons there are fewer marriages and more folks living together is because in many ways it's more financially as well as emotionally beneficial!
Anyway, the point I wanted to make is that if a person can be in love with 2 people at the same time, why shouldn't they be allowed to have those people like husbands/wives? It would take some very special people to handle this, though. I could see jealousy being one big issue to deal with. But if communication, open hearts, and the ability to know that you can talk to the others in the relationship without repercussions are all present, I know the love will shine. It does work. ;-)
I've actually known people who married one, divorced mutually, and then married another so that all three would have some sort of legal "bond." They all are living and loving together just fine for going on 20 years now!!

Do we get to pick the extra guy...like for example Orlando Bloom...you think he's be into that??? Yum!!! Personally I wouldn't want my man having another woman so that makes m a hypocrite but if it works for you then by all means go for it!!!

the number of spouses should only be one, but, if both spouses agree, multiple lovers is ok. History is full of noble men and women that were married and had several concubines/lovers

If it suits all parties I dont see the harm in any sort of relationship. It is unusual for men to be willing to share though.

That's wrong. When you take someone's hand in marriage you are agreeing to be with just that person.

People should mind their own business and run their own lives, if a certain living arrangement makes someone happy, who are we to tell them that it is wrong?
