I'm forgetting how to solve it.

230/16=14.375, you can't have 0.375,so round up to 1,
total is 15 boxes

Basic division, hon. Assuming one person per donut, just divide 16 into 230 and round up.

PEOPLE -- the question involved HOW to solve it. Why do you all keep actually DOING the solution???

15 boxes 230 people/16 = 14.375 there cannot be .375 boxes so round up one. But that means only one donut person and I usually eat more then that lol.

youd go 230 diivded by 16 and you'd get 13.375 so you roud that off to 13 but to be safe by 14 or 15 boxes
