i love UGGS...but make sure that you get the genuine thing, made in Australia with Australian Merino Wool...
i have a few pairs but the best site by far that i have purchased from is www.uggstop.com
they have loads of style and ship to anywhere!
also, to get an accurate size just measure the foot you want to put in them and they will send the right size for you. invest in some UGG protector spray and some UGG wash to keep your boots looking like new...you will have them for years to come!

First off: GREAT idea! Uggs are hot! And second uggs aren't for eskimos! They are a new trend (which might go out in a decade or so, lol!) but for now they are very hot to have! Especially for winter! (Pair them with jeans for a great look!)
Now, for the friend dilemma. If she's 9 was the biggest size 7 and you couldn't find a 9? You should try different stores if that's the case! Hot store for Uggs: OLD NAVY (That's where I got mine! They are still good looking!)
GOOD LUCK! <3

First of all, don't get her uggs for her birthday, i mean sure they have been in season for the last two seasons, but i can bet you they'll be out my next fall/winter. so plz plz PLZ get her something else, like another kind of boot lol.
Second of all, uggs are disgusting on anyone including Eskimos. Though they may be warm, all you are doing is paying for the name brand. they also make your feet look a thousand times bigger than they actually are. I especially hate when ppl tuck them into their jeans i mean ewwww. So, i really hate uggs, if you couldn't tell. Go with a cuter boot!

i own a pair of ugg boots from few years ago. they always tend to run big because they're winter boots, so I suggest you to get the one that is slightly smaller, they might fit a bit snuggly in the first week but they'll loosen up. personally, I think uggs aren't quite attractive, sometimes they even make your feet look huge - but they're super comfy though. So if you live in a cold, snowy area, get them. But say if you live in places like cali or florida, I suggest you to invest on a pair of more fashionable boots. :)
P.S. Don't get the knee high, they're funny looking. They came out with this new mini uggs, my sister just bought a pair of those in chocolate. they are pretty cute and looks even better than the short version.

I've heard that girls dress for other girls more than they dress for guys. If that's true, then my opinion won't really matter. However, for what it's worth, I think the knee high ugg boots are hot and females look very cute and sexy when wearing them.

I like Uggs. I have a pair of navy blue short Uggs. They're casual and you can wear them with everything.

Ok, now don't get mad:
...perhaps it came from "ugly"...sort of unattractive.
MAke sure your friend really wants those "ugg", or perhaps a slick pair of boots with heals...with some kind of animal print design?....cheaper at payless, and boscov's.
That's only one woman's opinion, and guys have this thing about women in attractive shoes & boots...otherwise why would we ever wear shoes/boots, with pointy toes, and hurt????
