I know it's a really silly question but I just got Nintendogs today and my dog won't listen to me OR sit! This is just to confirm that he knows how. Does anyone know the problem? I'm speaking into the microphone but she just won't listen.

You have to make sure that you're saying it with the same tone of voice at all times....you can't fluctuate the pitch of your voice too much or it won't recognize it. Also make sure there is not a lot of back ground noise when you're playing --- like tv, radio, other people.....the extra noise confuses the reception of your voice.
My daughter had the same problem with hers....once she retrained it making sure to say it the SAME way EVERY time, and tried it w/out alot of background noises, Bitsy listened every time!
