"Critical System Errors", have nothing to do with your firewall, antivirus or antispyware security.

You don't state what platform that you are running, but it means that in your system, which includes the registry which is the heart of your system there is a error or conflict with the programs you have installed.

You can go to start=run= and type in: drwtsn32 and click on okay an a box with Dr. Watson should come up showing you what the critical error is and you can send it to Microsoft for evaluation or a fix. You can also type in drwatson and click on ok, and the icon will appear in your tray. Open the tray and you will see Dr. Watson, which will show you if there is an error in your system, or say system is fine.

You can to go to start=setings =control panel an open administrative tools, open event viewer and open applications and see the errors and you can send them to Microsoft. Also in event viewer you can open system and see if there are errors there. Actually you are supposed to clean out the log for both the applications and system on a frequent basis, or you will have trouble with your system.

You also open my computer, open "C', drive and open tools, and click on the box where it say check files/folders for errors. This check requires exclusive use of your pc. So this check of your entire files/folders will be performed on reboot, before any program load.

I used every platform that Windows has made. I now use Windows XP Prof., an if I perform this file/folder check for system errors, and one is found the system will correct itself.

Hope the above will help you.

I'm really not sure if I understand your question but what a system error has to do with your security program? Can you be more specific?

Any way, If the error mentions your security program, something may be wrong with its configuration or you have a bug in your system.

Do a thorough scan of your system to make sure that your system is free of bugs. Also, clean up your system from junk like Internet temporary files, cookies, history and cache and then do a check disc and a defrag. then restart your computer and see if the problem is gone. If not, go to "Tuneup Utilities" site and download their free trial program and have it clean your registry automatically.
