I forgotmy password to my old computer, which I now gave to my family. But they cant use it untill I get past the first password. (I made ahint which stated 'the one who gave this to you and your nick name' )
I cant seem to remember the Characters / letters / !@#$%% / names etc to fulfill the password.
I have an Averatec computer - and it has Windows XP on it.... Any Help ?? Please? Thanks

Try going into Safe Mode - press F8 after powering on before window logo comes on. Else you will need a password crack.

I have been having this exact same problem lately. No, it isn't Caps Lock or the password being incorrectly entered, we're not idiots. It's been doing this about once a day for a week. If I close my browser, and attempt to log in again, it works fine.

First, your avatars have a gender identity issue, are you as confused as your avatars are? Did you even realize that we can look at all your previous questions, and see that you change from a male to a female on a regular basis? Just an observation.
You can start in safe mode, that would allow you to view all passwords, if you don't know how to start in safe mode, let me know.

You can log onto it through a network using another administrator account and create an admin user.
