How was the period? Was it lighter than normal?

Have you done a pregnancy test?

Good Luck.

Definately go to a fertility clinic, and not just to a gynecologist that works with fertility problems. Go somewhere that will take you down the entire road of fertility treatment, if you need it. It's too soon to tell, but when you need to change doctors because your specialist doesn't handle everything, you usually have to get all the tests and bloodwork over again. It can get very expensive. Even doctors don't know 100% what may or may not be wrong. I lived it for 15 years, and spent thousands of dollars. Research on the internet, and keep communicating with your spouse. I'm 36, and my entire adult life has revolved around trying to get pregnant. It can become an obsession, but try not to let it. Most importantly, if you end up choosing fertility treatments, discuss with your spouse the stopping point that you both will have. Depending on your emotional and financial states, you will need to think about which procedures you are willing to try and how far you want to take treatment. You need to be at peace, together, with your decisions. Now, of course, you could get pregnant next month. My final treatment was IVF, and it failed. 1 year later, we adopted a 10 day old girl, and she is an angel, I love her more than anything. And, yes, you will get tired of people telling you to just "relax" and it will happen. They're only trying to help, but it's just about the stupidest thing to say and it gets annoying. Good luck!

If this is the first month that your period is late I wouldn't be worried if I were you especially if you are trying to get preggers.

Make sure you are having sex on your most fertile days (we only really have 2/3 days a month where our chances of getting pg at their highest), use an ovulation kit for this, cut out caffeine, smoking etc.

Another tip I have heard (whether or not its true I don't know) is once your husband has climaxed he should make you have another orgasm, this makes the cervix "dip" and "pick up" the sperm and "take it in" to fertilise the egg.

Ususally doctors ask you to wait for about 12-18 months before they refer you to a fertility clinic, the most important thing to remember is not to stress out trying, this could also slow down the process of baby making.

Fingers crossed you get a + pregnancy test this month.

You might already be pregnant. But in case your not, it might be your diet. I would ensure that you are already taking a prenatal vitamin and that you are eating properly.

Of course this might not be it at all and you might need to see a fertility specialist, but at least your diet is a very inexpensive way that you can try in the mean time. It also means that once you've conceived that you will have a very healthy baby!

Have you considered Natural Family Planning? This method allows couples to see when they are most fertile through charting and then making the decision to conceive through intercourse or abstaining. If you type that into a yahoo search you should come up with the web site. They have a home instruction course that you can take, and it is not the calender/rhythm method.

It might be time to go and see a doctor. 6-12 months of frequent (2-3x/week) unprotected sex is what most specialists would recommend. Especially if you are over 35, go now. Both of you should get checked out: male factors are present in ~50% of infertile couples. You can start off by visiting your normal gynecologist or family practitioner: they can get you started and, if necessary, refer you to a fertility specialist.

If you haven't been charting, you may want to begin. I attach a link that may help you.

in case you're a female who ovulates very quickly (interior 3 days) after the tip of menses, there's a small hazard which you will conceive. in any different case, have you ever seen acupuncture?? that is been shown to be very useful in assisting with unusual menstruation, and concept. in case you at the instant are not delicate with non-western drugs, you'll be able to choose evaluate a minimum of a reproductive endocrinologist with a holistic approach. so a techniques as start administration pills making your menses unusual, in case you weren't on the pill at sixteen, then it would not be the reason you're unusual. in case you have been off of hormonal start administration for better than 4-6 months, that is unlikely that that is nevertheless affecting you. solid success!

Maybe you should go to a fertility clinic together an both get checks. I've also heard that if you're trying for a baby you should have sex in the morning (sperm count is highest) and your partner shouldn't have a bath before sex.

It sometimes takes longer than that to get PG. but go talk to your Dr about options if you are concerned. sometimes stressing over it can cause you to be late or not get PG
