without looking anything up, I'd say

regulatory proteins-- needed for time and place of gene expression

cytoskeletal proteins = needed for cell structure and cell division

membrane proteins - needed to transport materials back and forth between inside and outside of cell

structural proteins = component of hair, skin, bone, muscle, etc. like keratin

motor proteins -- needed for transducing chemical energy into physical action (like myosin, kinesin, etc.)
