the high school I am going to is boring. It is also too small. I do not have any electives and I want to get into an ivy college. Do ivy colleges accept you more if you have a lot of grades to evaluate you on? The school I am going to has only six classes that I am taking so that is only six grades. If I switch schools I will have about 10 grades. The other school I might switch to has over 2500 people and there is a big drug problem there. 2 people have gotten sttabbed and 2 people have gotten arrested. Should I switch?

if a school is heavily drugged or is not meeting your expextations then yes. and you say you want to go to an ivy league school. So u should try to find a more challenging school that will look goood on your applications. :)

i dont think that you should switch schools if you are doing well where you are. you may even be getting a better education at the smaller school. i heard howard stern once tell the story of how he was at the top of his class at a big inner city school but when he switched to a smaller suburban school he realized he was really a D student. you may actually be more intellectually bored there. then what will you do? perhaps get into trouble with your new friends. it sounds like you are on the right track now. but thats just my opinion why not call (or write) the administration office of some of the colleges that you are considering and get their opinion.

No! They go by what grades you have not how many! You'll probably get a better education where you are at.
