I was 15 and it was at Fredericks Pasteries- a little bakery shop. It was great b/c I was alowed to eat as much of the food that I wanted to- good thing I was 16 and could eat anything and not gain any weight!

Car Hop. For those to young to know what this is: A waitress that took orders from cars parked in designated parts of the restaurant's parking lot. People enjoyed eating like this before the eighties. We would take the orders get the food and it was carried on a tray that hooked to the window of the car when it was rolled down so far.

My first real job was working with my father. He was the inspector and I was packing parts. That lasted about five months then I joined the Air Force for about the next 12 years.

Working in the concession stand of a theater. When I was 13 yrs. old for $ 2. 50 a night. I thought it was great. Just think of the minimum wages now.Better yet, can't you see a 13 yr. old working someplace like that now.?

Paper girl/ Avon/ & a Baby-sitter but those don't count so first paid job bus girl at Murphy's steak house in Prescott, AZ...I hated it and lasted two weeks.

I had to peel the bark off of enormous pine logs for a log home builder. That was by far the hardest I've ever had to work in my life. Or the hardest I ever will again.
