With all the spams and the spyware, I don't take any risk in buying something on line although sometimes I would. There are two informations I would not give on the internet ( the web). and those are my credit card number and my social security number. If we buy something let's say on eBay, is it possible to pay on delivery?

Thank you very much

I would not buy anything from the Internet unless I am positive that the company I deal with is a reliable one. Yet, you never know what happens, regardless with whom you do business on the Internet. E-Bay is supposed to be a reliable company but who guarantees me the individual with whom I will be doing business?

If I need something, I do my homework on the Internet and then I go to my local store (knowledgeable and educated) and I buy what I need. But again, that's me.

Some vendors do offer other options than paying by Internet credit card but not many. I have used eBay for several years now and never had any problems with their payment program. I did however have my credit card number stolen from a local purchase less than 90 days ago. The risk of having your credit card number stolen while on eBay is less than when you make a local purchase from a store or gas station.

I have been selling on e-bay for years Unfortunately they don't do that. Most people want to be sure they have their money before they ship it. I personally need the money so I can have it to pay the post office to ship it. If you set up an account on pay-pal..that's an online payment a lot of people use but you still have to give a credit card number to register with them. e-bay has a toolbar that you can download that will tell you whether something that says it came from them is legit or not..Hope this helps
