a Croc is bigger and stronger so I would say a croc just like a bear people think because they walk slow and they are big and fat that they are not fast but they are

Marlins (a relative of the swordfish) have been clocked at 60 mph in short bursts, and Mako Sharks have been recorded at atleast 50 mph. Crocodiles, I'm assuming you mean the Saltwater Crocodile, have a maximum speed of about 10 mph in the water I believe.
Therefore, fish can undoubtedly swim faster than crocodiles. Not that speed matters much for the crocodile, that is. They are ambush predators and do not need to be able to swim fast in order to catch their prey.

depends on the fish... Crocs don't usually chase after fish. They lie and wait for a quick ambush with their jaws.
