So I just found out through a person who one night got drunk(I later asked when he was sober if it was true) that my friends husband smokes marijuana on a regular basis. My friend told her husband that she wouldn't marry him if he continued the habit...obviously he has. Should I tell my friend of this confession I learned about...I don't want to cause problems to their marriage...but is it fair to allow her to think he isn't smoking and to keep living in his lies?

It sounds like you have a man on your hands who's made the decision to not grow up. If he didn't have a major issue with marijuana than he would have no problem giving it up if it makes you uncomforatble now that you have a child. Greg G, although totally pompous and haughty in his answer mentions that addiction is difficult to conquer, which is true... but you have to be willing first and foremost. I think you sound like you've grown up. It's good. You got together with this guy when you were very young. Maybe what you wanted then isn't what is best now. You have some thinking to do. I don't think you're being unreasonable. I think you're being a good mom. Good luck.

No dont tell her. First off you only know what someone else says. Unless you can prove it, no good will come from telling her and causing trouble.
