Through a company or just by yourself?
Get involved in Mary Kary or Avon. It's cliche, but whatever. Once you are an employer, try getting a cliental base. In other words, get people to buy from you. Try church, school, and work. Don't be too pushy though.
Just the other day some strange old woman came up to me and asked me if I liked Mary Kay--she was trying to become a sales woman.

I've seen this table set up at m school, Cerritos College, always trying to get people to buy Avon and every time I pass by I see some one who has stopped to look. I even stopped by too, heehee.

You can sell anything on eBay. It's pretty safe and inexpensive to list the items.
