Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead
Day of the Dead
Night of the Living Dead (remade by Tom Savini)
Dawn of the Dead (remake)
Land of the Dead

I am fortunate enough to live in Western PA, where most of these movies were filmed. Watching the productions is one of my fondest memories.

The newscaster interviewing the sheriff in the original NOTLD was none other than Bill Cardille, host of Pittsburgh's "Chiller Theater" and Channel 11 meteorologist.

I believe it was his daughter Lori who starred in Day of the Dead.

The Original Dawn of the Dead was filmed at the Monroeville Mall, and the biker who says "Say goodnight, creep" is none other than Tom Savini.

Tom went on to remake the original NOTLD, which is extremely well done but somehow overlooked.

He also played the sheriff in the remake of DOTD, and has done special f/x for many of the dead movies, and others.

He's a Pittsburgh native, resides in Fox Chapel and works closely with another Pittsburgher, George Romero. Tom also played Sex Machine in From Dusk to Dawn, and has acted alongside Ed Harris in Knightriders.
