google there email address
or shorten there email address so you have a username and search for that
if they own a domain name
do a domain name who is on the domain and it will give you there address.

Try searching on a search engine such as yahoo.
The best way is to register on a site such as Orkut.com(mail ot me at vimalbhaya@yahoo.com to get an invite for an account on this site) or hi5.com or bingboxor namesdatabase.com or zorpia.com.
These all are social sites and you can search people on it so as to get the person whom you want to find.

Depends on whether the person your looking for is alive or dead, the country of residence and how much information you already have about them.

Type in their name & last known address - it might tell you where they've moved to. OR go to the last place you knew them & maybe someone will tell you where they are now - or give you a hint at the last place they knew that person.
