I was using Cyanoacrylate (Superglue) recently and spilled an entire 1 oz. bottle on my leg and foot. I was able to get my shoe and sock off before they became attached to my body but I was not able to wipe much of the glue off my skin. I did not have any of the commercially available CA remover on hand, but I did have a bottle of Methyl Ethyl Ketone. I have used alcohol, acetone, CA debonder, mineral spirits and turpentine to try and get CA off of my skin but nothing was as cheap and effective as the MEK. CA debonder is about $5 for 2 oz. MEK is about $5 per quart. After using MEK you will need to apply some heavy duty moisturizers to any skin that the MEK touched but nothing I've used has been that effective.

One common mixture that is used as a solvent is MEK and Acetone, the two combined act together to form a powerful solvent, I've never used this combo on CA but it will likely be better than either alone.

Some notes on CA:
Water acts as a catalyst to quicken the curing process of the glue so, Never ever ever try to wash uncured CA off your skin with water, it can make it set off so fast that it burns your skin.

CA reacts with Latex to produce alot of heat, I know, I was burned trying to glue foam latex to balsa wood using CA. So, Don't wear Latex gloves.

When you are going to be using alot of CA use it in a well ventilated area because the fumes will build up and you will get CA stuck to your respiratory tract. I've done it and it is uncomfortable.

Keep your favorite solvent (MEK) nearby in case of a spill, the sooner you start trying to get it off your skin the easier it will be to remove.

The best way that I have found to remove superglue from my hands is to use an acetone containing nail polish remover. It works really well if the superglue is not thick and concentrated in one area. If it is thick, soaking you hands in a warm solution of soapy water helps soften the skin and you may be able to peel the glue off. Good Luck !

get a little soup or salad bowl, (the ceramic ones, not plastic) and pour enough nail polish remover in there so you can soak your finger tips in it. It will take a while to get it all off. And you might have to use the remover a couple times. But it will come free. Next time you use superglue, wear those real rubber gloves; not hair coloring gloves that come w/the hair color, but the big old yellow ones your mom used to use to wash dishes. If your fingers get the glue on those, just junk them. And your fingers will be free of the glue.

Acetone is supposed to work; just use plain old nail polish remover; careful with its use, and wash thoroughly afterwards. If you got the glue all over your hands, how are you able to type your question onto the computer? And who will apply the acetone if your hands are glued together? In major cases, some people go to the emergency room, depending on which body part is affected. Good luck!

Super glue makes a solvent remover that is supposed to work even after super glue has dried. I suggest anyone using super glue keep a bottle of the remover on hand, so that if removal becomes necessary, the remover is handily nearby. Good luck

Use acetone it works ,or most places that sell super glue also sell a solvent to remove it. Nail polish remover does not work ,it is too weak . Use solvents in a well ventilated area.

I have heard that dipping one's hand in acid has a tendency to help cure the problem. Or you could do it the boring way and scrub it with rubbing alcohol or something like that. I'd think that after a few days, it might peel off.

i think maybe using nail polish remover may work, even though it makes your hands taste bad if you eat with them, just wash them really hard with soap
