The mother that produced the fetus has given it up to be killed so why should not Planned Parenthood be able to sell the specialized stem cells instead of just throwing this valuable resource in the trash?
It could be a billion dollar industry harvesting the stem cells from the aborted babies the mothers have given up.

I dont think that they should be sold for profit of any kind...if a woman wants an abortion that is up to her...but I believe that if it is known that she or the organization could profit finacially from stem cells then that is an ethical issue and would cause more women to get pregnant and have an abortion just to provide stem cells which is unethical and murderous. I believe abortion should be a final option when a pregnancy is accidental and when there are no other options feesible....i dont believe women should use if as a form of birth control or just have an abortion cause the timing isnt right.....to provide abortions for finacial gain would be wrong.....I believe they can be donated if the woman having the abortion consents. People and organizations should not benifit finacially through the death of a fetus.

For starters.......Fetus is not always just being ''given up to be killed''. There is some people who have very damn good reasons for having an abortion. Stem Cells should not be sold . They should be given to Scientists so that research can be done into finding cures for a load of diseases. Imagine if Stem Cell Research was able to find a cure for Cancer?? A cure for AIDS??? A cure for Hepititis C?? Maybe a cure for other diseases up to an including Parkinsons Disease, Alhzeimhers Diasease.
Would that not benefit all of mankind??? Personally me thinks it would. But selling Stem Cells for PROFIT?? That is immoral as well as just plain wrong.

I think that Planned Parenthood should be aborted. No, they should not be allowed or permitted to sell stem cells or any other portion of the fetuses that they abort. Despite what anyone ever tells me, I know in my heart that abortion is murder of a totally innocent human being who has never had a chance at life. Besides, stem cell research is mostly a fraud anyway, so why waste money on something that is all hype and little reality.

first of all there are women out there who have to have an abortion in order to save her own life if she has complications with the pregnancy so please do not judge all women who have abortions.second of all i am against stem cell research but that doesnt mean everyone is or isnt.everybody is entitled to thier own opinions and its really starting to piss me off that people have to use yahoo questions to either state an opinion or ask stupid questions not that yours is stupid but you have to be careful when asking questions that relate to a sensitive subject

No, it is still fundamentally MURDER. A fetus still has a heartbeat, it is a living human being.
