Always Crashing In the Same Car.

A couple of months ago, I had a dream that I was crashing my car all over the place, and I wasn't getting anywhere. When I woke up I was describing my dream to someone, that's when I thought about the song. I think that song is about a universal feeling of being trapped and unable to escape something in your life.

Other Bowie favorites of mine:
Up the Hill Backwards
Eight Line Poem
Moonage Daydream
TVC15
Win
Width of a Circle
Sweet Thing.

Pop music today could use another Bowie to come and break all the rules, by ignoring all the rules.

Impossible! There are too many to list! But I'll try - not in any order of preference, mind.
Five Years
Jean genie
Quicksand
Oh you Pretty Things
Changes
Time
Ashes to Ashes
Let's dance
Young Americans
The list could go on for ever. If I had to choose just one; it would be "Quicksand" because that changed my life a lot when I was young and in real trouble.
Thank you David!
