Sweetheart, I've been married for 26 loving years to the same wonderful woman and I know for certain my best Beloved and I are going to heaven (or a version of it at least). As for those who say we're going to hell, they can keep the place for themselves. Hell was made by humans to sacare other humans. Love is just that. Love.

Interesting question and if you believe in God then one should display conduct that shows this very fact. Read 1 Corinthians 6: 9 - 11. Many losers pick and choose scriptures from the Bible where they strip them down trying to make them fit with their filthy and immoral lifestyles, but there will be a time when no more of this excuse abuse will be around. Simply put, if you say you believe in God and can see what the world is turning into around you, common sense is what you need. A public forum like this will get you all sorts of wrong information, but prayer and personal Bible study will get you the truth. Read 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11 and then you will know. It pretty much covers everything and this particular scripture is very deep so be prepared. God's standards are to be followed; he doesn't follow ours, but he does love us so he gives us this time to change...the time is just about up...I for one cannot wait; had it with this world and what it has turned into today...hope this has helped...good luck.

When I taught Philosophy of Religion, I gave my students a big group project dealing with the problems of divine scriptures. (i.e. the number of charioteers or who moved David? Why in some version, Psalm ends with 150 but in some others there is Psalm 151? How could Moses write Torah after his death?) There are so many problems in the Bible that it is hard to derive a straightforward answer to your question in the simplest way.

For example, Leviticus 20:13. See the different versions on the bible; you'll find striking differences. These are due to how each version was translated. "If man lies with a man...abomination." I will just focus on one word. What abomination means.

Because Leviticus is one of the books from the Old Testament, the orignal language in which it was written was Hebrew. The Hebrew word from which english translation of abomination was made was "to'evah" It can mean: cult, different, religious practice, or condemned. the word to'evah. For example, boys and girls studying in one classroom can be 'to'evah,' A hybrid of cotton and polyester is 'to'evah' and etc etc. There are more cases in which to'evah is not used to condemn, bur rather to express differences. So I am not so sure if abomination is a correct translation to begin with although I cannot deny that 'to'evah' is not used to condemn 'man lying with man.' To me, if 'to'evah' has to be interpreted as 'comdemned,' considering how it came to that interpretation, any other interpretation seems to be just as legitimate as any other.

When you consider jewish tradition, they do not talk about anyone's private life. In short, what goes on in private is kept private. For example, even though it was extremely rare for jewish men to stay single, for whatever reason a man stays single, no one talks about it. It is also unlikely that jewish texts would openly talk about someone's private business like a man having sex with another man.

About who goes to heaven or who doesn't go to heaven. I don't have the answer to this. But I'd like to believe everyone goes to heaven.

Being Gay is defined by the prophets of the old testament as being an abomination. When Good people do the wrong thing it is also an abomination.
but everyone Goes to heaven. at least to be judged. and though there are 9 degrees of heaven there has been declared also 9 circles of Hell. but even still, there is a lake of fire and there is outerdarkness. and in greek mythology there was a whole planet where ONLY MEN existed. Being Gay or a sodomite would only last so long in the desires of flesh and giving in marriage. Even if this kind of planet exists to punish Gay people and if they had all eternity i think it would only be a few centuries before they realize how Much it is a FRUITLESS endeavor. I think in the end of the story, in this mythos, the men of that planet, in their existence became filled with much sorry and wept unto God in prayer for woman kind, and truthfully God said it is not Good for man to be alone. apparantly its not good to be alone with a whole race of other men as well. ???

Everyone goes to heaven, but that is only to be judged, once you are judged you are either sent to hell or the gates are opened for you to go in!

P.S.- Have you noticed when gays ask a question and straights answer it with their opinion and they aren't even put downs, that the gays give it a bad rating? Like they don't want to hear it or something? Straights listen to them, why can't they listen to us?

That strictly depends on the interpretation of the texts. It does not specifically state that if a same-sex couple were to marry they would go to hell.

If you're gay and you get married you ARE in heaven...trust me I know....I'd much rather go to hell than to spend time with all those people who think they're going to heaven.
