It depends which country you reside in, but here's a few things to know. If you file for divorce, you will get spousal support for yourself, and as for full custody of the kids, that will be up to the courts to decide, since the decision can vary on a case by case basis. It will depend on what the court will deem to be the best for the kids. It could be you getting full custody, your husband getting full custody,
or joint custody. I have posted links for U.S. divorce requirements.

first off you need to go to a lawyer, then hte lawyer will do his thing, but if you dont work how are you supposed to pay for the vehicles, car ins, house payment, house ins, not to mention all the other bills, but who ever is seen as the fittest parent will most likely get the kids, so if i was you id find a job so it looks like your trying bc why would a judge give the kids to a person that dont work thats just setting the kids up for failure

first you have to file for legal seperation. depending on what the reason is for the divorce it takes 3 months to 1 year. cheating, drug or alcohol abuse, mental and physical abuse, all those get you divorced in 3 months. unless you can prove you've been living seperate for one year already. but find a lawyer and they'll do the rest.

Go find a good atty, tell them what you want and don't want. They'll take care of all the rest, be sure you have a handful of money.

your first step is to contact an attorney. He/she will advise you and get you moving in the right direction.
