How? I have tried saving it localy, and pasting it. All it does is show a thin, black, box around where the image should be. Oh, and it DOESN'T show the image! :(

Hi there again Mike...copy/paste "should" display the image you are inserting. There's a chance your Word X for Mac application is corrupted and needs to be reinstalled. I've tested my version with copy/paste or drag/drop and the image shows up in my document window fine.

Not enough info. Does it fail to appear before saving or only after saving the finished document? How are you inserting the image? Try the Insert menu at the top: Insert > Picture > From file... . What is the size of the image file? Maybe it is too large for Word to handle although I have used 22 MB files with no problem. Are you saving it as filename.doc or as a web page? Try saving it as filename.doc Maybe the image is not compatible with Word. What is the extension of the file name? Here's what can be used in Mac Word:

• Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG, JFIF)
• Graphics Interchange Format (GIF)
• Portable Network Graphics (PNG)
• Tagged Image File Format (TIFF)
• Macintosh Picture (PICT)
• Macintosh Paint (PNTG)
• Windows Bitmap (BMP)
• Encapsulated PostScript File (EPSF, EPS)
• Windows Metafile (WMF)
• Enhanced Windows Metafile (EMF)
• Portable Document Format (PDF)
• Photoshop Document (PSD)
• Silicon Graphics Incorporated (SGI)
• QuickTime Image Format (QTIF)
• Targa (TGA, TPIC)
• FlashPix (FPX)
Also, maybe the image file is corrupt. JPEG files have some wacky marker issues and sometimes will not work in Word or on a web page. Try inserting one of the Clip Art files (Insert > Picture > From Clip Art... ). If that doesn't appear correctly, reinstall MS Office.
