the nasal chambers, in all simplicity, are the chambers of the nose. the nose, like everyone knows, has two holes, just like those, in your nose.

the nostrils are the first, immediate chamber. they draw in air with the aid of decreased pulmonary pressure. bones project into the nose, holding the inner passageways up for maximum contact with air, which needs to be moistened, warmed, filtered with the hairs in the nostrils and the cilia of the epithelial cells of the inner passageways. the nose ends where the pharynx begins, which is the throat.
