Are you ******* crazy? How dare you compare the communists with America, I can't even find the words to describe what I'm feeling. The wall will keep illegals out and drug smugglers will stop smuggling drugs off our borders. We have to protect our national security and we should make the fence 1,000 miles not 700 it doesn't upset any neighbor relations. It will stop illegals from coming here and we will at least know that our country is doing something to stop this illegal activities. What is your plan? Open the borders and let everyone in so we can be good neighbors?

Apples and Oranges my friend. The Berlin wall was built to keep people in, this one is to keep people out.

In Berlin, many on the communist side of the wall wanted to get to the other side...to freedom. If Mexico was building the wall you might have a point.

I think the Berlin wall actually separated Berlin. One City. One country--Germany.

The last time I checked, Mexico hasn't been annexed into the US (at least not legitimately).

Good comparison for someone that wants plenty of drugs coming into our country from Mexico along with all the criminals. Dry out, go into rehab and you will be able to see the difference.

Ok, genius, the berlin wall was to keep people in, not out. You, however, can leave whenever you want.

There's nothing wrong with forcing foreigners to enter our country by following our laws. it is very questionable as to why people would'nt want foreigners to follow the most basic of all laws, being "proper entry" to our country.
So, to answer the question, The American citizens wins and the illegal aliens lose.

Yes, we need to build those walls to keep all of those Americans trying to escape to Mexico for all the great benifits they have.
