Okay SO I am stuck on a costume idea. This is what I have to work with. Army/ camoflauge pants and accesories.... A pink and white vinttage type dress with pink shoes... or a bathrobe ... ok so I can go with the Soldier thing, and look close to accurate, but not at all cute. Or I can be a bag lady (my moms choice) Or i can somehow work the pink and white dress in (my choice) So I am stuck.... what can I say I am wearing a pink and white dress and silver jewelry? Pink and white dress - Molly Ringwald in the movie "Pretty in Pink." Sling a bunch of necklaces around your neck, foof up your hair (make it red, if possible), and carry a rubber ducky, if you can find one. (For the character, Ducky.)

Take the Army uniform and cut the pants into real short shorts..
Take the top and make it revealing & skimpy also..

gown like a fairy. placed on a floaty pink gown, and placed on some wings. Get a plastic wand, and a crown, and a few pink stockings. Get some lavender footwear, or sandals. instantaneous fairy!
