Tara, Tara, Tara - What you think you stand for , sounds more like a diatribe of what you Stand against. But I will respect your right to say what you want.

Some of your ideas are in direct disagreement with what our founding fathers had intended.

Hats off for trying to inseminate some POSITIVE into the discussion.

Unfortunately, the lib dems are entrenched in a negative campaign and cannot answer the question.

I still stand for LIFE. I guess I'm a bit American in that our lives are more valuable than the radlamterrorists. I'm for lower taxes, so I can keep more of my money to pass to my son. He's going to need it because of all the government spending.

It's a beautiful day, the sky is blue, here in Tennessee. The leaves on the trees are red and gold. Life is good.

I would love to see this country unified. It is very disconcerting to see how elections have changed throughout the years. It is no longer about what is best for the country it is now about what's best for the party. I almost expect the winning party of the next election to stick their thumbs in their ears, wiggle their fingers, stick out their tongues and say "nanny nanny boo boo,our party beat you"! It's sad isn't it? I stand for life of all kinds, I stand for law and order. I wish that people could walk down a dark street at night and not have to look over their shoulders at the slightest sound coming from behind them. I am for swift punishment of murderers, rapist, child molesters. I want a fair tax system. I want resonably priced health care, I want illegal to mean illegal not be up for debate. Guess I want things to go back to the 50's or 60's don't I. I don't know how much hope I hold out for the country anymore.
By the way, glad you are in remission. Hope you contiue to have good health. Have a great day.
I am in total agreement with Tara P. VOTE!! REPUBLICAN!!!

I stand for anything that will improve the lives of all Americans, the plan i would want my party to implement is the continuation of the tax breaks that are benefiting all Americans. My party respects life in all its forms and yet are willing to sacrifice some for the benefit of all.

I wish I could say that I agreed with either party, but I can't. I will vote democrat becausse I agree more with my congressman than his opponet, and I have yet to see a Libertairan have a chance at being elected, as I mostly agree with their platform, but they are not electable. I wish a party would form that would :
Support free speech
anti gun control
pro life
anti war in Iraq but pro go after Bin Ladden and the Saudi's who keep him going
cut taxes
repeal income, inheirtance, property taxes, gas, and communication (phone) and utility taxes
legalise maraijuna and prosittuion tax and regulate them
legalise internet gaming
honor our treaties with American Indian tribes
take care of Americans
stop out sourcing of jobs
out law lobbists
inprison polititions who take bribes, sexually harrass pages or staff
just to name a few issues

I stand for competence and accountability at the national level, and that is why I am supporting Democrats in the Congress and Senate races.

I stand for improving our education system and access to health care and social programs. I stand for peace and diplomacy. I stand for privacy and keeping the government out of my bedroom, off my phone lines, out of my library records, and most importantly out of my uterus. I stand for freedom of expression and freedom of religious and governmental entanglements. I stand for disclosure of corporate records. I stand for integrity and honesty. I stand for racial and social equality. I stand for supporting veterans of wars instead of cutting their benefits. I stand for delivering on the promise of social security. I stand for educating the youth of america about their bodies instead of pretending that they are not sexual beings. I stand for putting an end to government sanctioned executions of our citizens. I stand for saving the environment (which is a form of life).

It just so happens that the above are against the ideas of conservatives. Conservatives fail to see these as affirmative ideas because anything that disagrees with their mentality is "against" them. It can't possibly be that we are both FOR two different things. It is this logical breakdown that is going to reinvigorate the voice of the democratic party. They are making it so easy for us. VOTE!

I stand for responsible govt. spending. Reduction of budget deficit. I stand for secure, regulated borders.
I welcome immigration, but I want to choose who I want.
I choose my friends, I choose where I want to live, I choose who I let in my house. Why can't our nation choose who comes in?

I want affordable education. I want my student loans to be no more than twice my car loan. I want tough crime laws and strict discipline for k-12 students. I want politicians who make decisions that are best for the country, and not what's best for their political party.

So somehow standing "for" something is more right than standing against it? Is this the new far right sound-byte?
