You will have to tell your OB/GYN what you've been doing so he/she can know what type of infection you have. The more honest you are, the more they can help you. Trust me - they hear all kinds of stuff, I don't think it phases them. It will not be a pleasant appointment or experience, but necessary all the same.
Have you been washing your hands before you...you know? have you been using dirty tools? Make sure everything is clean. Sounds like you have a pelvic inflammatory infection. I had one and it hurts. You better not put it off any longer.

Unless you are really getting busy, masturbation shouldn't make the inside of your vagina hurt.
The only reason she would care if you masturbate is to find out if something you are using is giving you an infection. Make sure you thoroughly wash anything that touches you with hot soapy water. Don't use fruits/veges as they can cause yeast infections.
Why would you care what a ob/gyn would care about this? Their job is to make you better, not give you a lecture on your techniques. And EVERYONE masturbates, some more than others.

Wait a second...Your vagina has been "very sore and hurts inside for almost 2 months" and worried about the gynecologist knowing that you masturbate? Of course you masturbate. Everyone does occasionally and your gynecologist knows that too. He or she probably masturbates periodically also. You have a medical problem, probably a pretty severe infection that has persisted for 2 months. Grow up! Get yourself treated and cured.

I wouldn't just volunteer the information but if there were something wrong like that then yes I would tell. You could still have an infection without sex and gyno's are professionals and should understand that. Get everything checked out to make sure because 2 months is a really long time!

YES, you need to see a gynecologist. He/she will not ask you if you masturbate. You can just tell her that it is sore; that's it; she will do the rest. I think most adults know that masturbation is a normal healthy part of a person's life. Your gynecologist will not need you to go into too much detail about the "how you found out it hurts;" they will need you to tell them where it hurts and for how long it has been hurting.
GO NOW.
Consider telling a female family member you feel comfortable around to go with you.

My gyno is going to know what I do without me having to tell him anyways (if he's a good one) and I figure that if he's going to be poking and proding me down there.. I can trust him enough to tell him that I masterbate. Tell him, and go see one. You very well might have an infection, but infections down there can get serious fast.. so be a little embarassed for the sake of your health.

It doesnt nessecarily mean the pain is from masturbating...it could possibly be something else..if the pain is intense i would def suggest you see a doctor...and even if it isnt intense its definitly not normal for you to be in pain for so long..and maybe you should try to not masturbate for a while and see if that really is whats making the pain worse...

Just make yourself an appointment, tell them you need a pap
test done. If there is anything going on the Dr. will be able to
tell. You don't have to tell them anything that you are uncomfortable with. But you should be able to talk to your Dr.
about almost anything. Just remember whatever you say to
you Dr. will stay between you and him or her. Don't be afraid,
you will be happy that you went.

HE or SHE cares not one wit that you to yourself or with others. NEARLY EVERYONE masturbates so its not going to be a shock.
Relax and tell Gyno so they can help you. THAT is what Drs do...they don't pass judgement and frankly don't care!

You might need to go. He can tell. You don't have to say a word. Every person in the WORLD does it.
