When you start a business, it's imperative to enlist the help and support of people you trust. It's easy for entrepreneurs to get into the mindset of "If I need to get something right, I have to do it myself." While this may be the case, spreading yourself too thin keeps you from building your business properly. In addition, as your business grows, you won't have time to be the janitor, the accountant, the secretary and the CEO!

No one knows you better than your family, close friends and partners. Trust that they know your strengths and weaknesses, and allow them to help you out by offering complementary assistance, including personal loans. Doing this early on will help you learn to trust that other people can get the job done and will give you practice in the art of management and delegation. Those who believe in you will want to see you succeed, so determine their strengths, get them excited about your vision and ask them to help you out.

Another alternative for financing is to prepare a Business Plan and seek out an investor, or partner with a similar local business.

There are many businesses who started with so little yet grew to become good income vehicles down the road. Here are some tips on how you can start a business and earn more money even if you are short of cash today:

1. Find a business that you can start for little money (e.g. an errand business where your main cost is telephone and gasoline is easier to start than starting a Subway franchise)

2. Consider your time and effort - if you have little cash, you may have to work harder for the money because you will have no resource to outsource or employ others to do certain tasks for you; or you have no money to buy equipment so you can only do certain things the long way

3. Get your creative juices flowing. With no money, the only thing you have is your imagination. Be creative and find ways to get things done

4. Be prepared to do all the work yourself - from doing your business plan, finding financing, writing emails, shipping and handling, marketing or whatever processes your business requires.

5. Be prepared to invite investors - you may need financing help from someone down the road so be prepared to share some of the pie.

Well you need the money to start a business so you have no option but to go to the bank. Would it be the best idea starting a business anyway if your credit situation sint very good, what if the business fails and then you will be worse off then before. Try and sort out your credit situation, then get the money and go ahead to do your business.
