Well my first response was a rather humorous one, if you are a Democrat. That is: Republican = fools Democrat= wise
On a more serious note:
True Republicans are rich folks who are in favor of pure capitalism. Most Republicans are those people who have been used by the party to get votes. The Republican party does this by aliening itself with the more conservative elements of society and by using scare tactics for things in society that have really nothing to do with the true agenda of the Republican party.
Democrats are those representing the majority of people. They believe that Capitalism has an evil side to it that does not care about the people. It tries to temper pure Capitalism with programs to protect people. If it were not for Democrats there would be no Unemployment Compensation, no Social Security, no rights of any type for the workers of America. If not for the Democrats there would only be the rich and the poor, and the poor would be dying in the streets. Democrats have a heart and a conscience.

I think politics are too overrated, and these stupid politicians lie so much to get the other to not be voted in, and then they go back on a promise....I dont speak either...:) The attack ads are ridiculous, and I am so sick of hearing a promise that wont be kept...I live in Michigan and right now we have a governor that said 4 years ago "In 5 years, you're going to be blown away: well, I am sorry, but we keep getting worse, and Detroit is looking like crap. We are the 49th WORST economic climate in the US.
So for me:
Republican: LIES
Deomcrat: LIES
GIve me a plan with substance so that Im not in a depression when i get to the real world!

Partisan fools who don't think for themselves and vote for what they actually believe in.
Seriously... lets start actually researching who these people are instead of which side they are on.
There really are many Republicans against the war because of its high cost.
There are Democrats against raising taxes because the proceeds are being misused.
Stop letting the media and controversy blind you and start acting like responsible, intelligent people!

Why is everyone so hung up on Parties???? Vote for the candidate that is going to represent your values and views. By the way. Has anyone bothered to look up the work "Liberal" in the dictionary? I happen to be one and am proud of it!

people who are not capable of thinking for the nation as a whole but only capable of making decisions that will most tick off the other party. If they were at all capable of voting with a lick of intelligence instead along the party lines we might all be in a little better shape.

an old rich white guy who cheats on his wife and takes bribes from lobbyists, and then lectures me on morality. But at least the democrats are politically closer to me.
