you would have to know their ip address of the server or database where the data is stored. knowing ip's of the desktops would help too.. knowing the configuration of the firewalls, etc could be determined by getting on their network.. need ips for that.. not going to tell you how you get the ips..

you need to install pc anyware on the computer in the school then on your pc at home then you're gonna have to make sure the one in school is on then u can access it.
