I have always wanted to join a community of pagans working and living together in a communal fashion. How hard is it to find a group like that and join it?

Most of the groups that do that tend to be somewhat quiet about it - if only because a lot of people associate communes with nutballs (Waco, Heaven's Gate, etc.). There's sane, stable groups that do communal living - it's just not easy to find them.

If you're looking for one locally, your best bet would be to check with your local community and stores. If you're looking to move to one, you'll want to check someplace like witchvox.com or something with a more national readership.

Search the web, there are many co-housing societies out there, finding one with your similar beliefs might be the further stretch. Its something we've talked about in our own pagan community many times. Perhaps its time to start one yourself!

good Luck!

Boulder Colorado is full of them ... I even think the TV show, "Trading Spouses" happened in a commune in Boulder.

Many College towns also are full of these commune's.
