They SHOULD have won because they had better pitchers and more depth in the lineup. But they caused too many errors and the hitters were impatient so they didn't. The Cards made two big mistakes but the Tigers made four.

Give credit to Saint Louis. They handled the pressure better .

The Tiger's should have won but the Cards DESERVED to win.

Well, first of all yes. The Cardinals played a good game but were also kind of lucky. When the Tigers pitcher threw the ball away, that was the opening that let St Louis back into the game. Also when the base hit fell right in front of Ordonez it tied the score back up. So yes i do think the Tigers should have won last night.

I was rooting for the Tigers, but the Cardinals earned it. They played withing themselves and pitched well enough to win. It's probably a good thing the Cards won, though, so as to take whatever controversy was caused by Kenny Rogers and the "dirt" on his pitching thumb and render it moot.

Tigers should have won the World Series but...

Nope, I'm a huge Cardinal fan, grew up in St Louie and still route for them even though I live somewhere else now. I'm so happy for the Cardinals, it's been 24 long years since they won the series.

If they should have won, then they would have won. They made mistakes, which is not what winning teams do.

Anyone who says the Tigers should have won just sounds like a sore loser.

They played way too poorly to win, and the Cardinals played well. The best team won.

I don't like either team
but I must say
The Tigers put up a pathetic performance
stop making excuses people they suck
lost the series 4-1
That's sad, I felt sorry for them...

St Louis simply played better baseball, and deserved to win.

If you are a Tiger fan you should be happy they made it his far.
I know I am. I look forward to next season.
