What actually bothers me is how they arrive at that figure.
For instance, 90% of the troops in Iraq are full time active duty personnel. Which means their monthly salary would have to be paid whether they were there or here in the states.
See where I am coming from. All the hum-vees and tanks and other equipment in Iraq was paid for before it left the states.
Want to know how many times you and I have paid for that equipment in the last 4 years?
By now, I am sure you are catching on to the amount of padding that is occurring in that budget, in the name of freedom.
