Hideki Irabu won two World Series rings with the New York Yankees, one in 1998 and 1999 (Although he only pitched in one postseason game). Tadahito Iguchi won one with the Chicago White Sox in 2005 and So Taguchi has now won one with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2006. On a side note are Lenn Sakata, in 1983, with the Baltimore Orioles, and Dave Roberts, in 2004, with the Boston Red Sox. Both were on teams that won the World Series. Sakata and Roberts are of Japanese-American heritage, with Roberts actually being born in Japan. So if you are asking about players who are entirely of Japanese roots, then there are three who have now earned a ring as members of a World Series winner.
