I know what you mean they seem to be tailor made for smoking the sensemelia, Cant imagine that many people smoke huge roll-ups with just tobacco. Still nice of rizla to supply the stoned masses. Peace out

I've known the odd person to use them for normal roll-ups but on the whole they are for making "jazz cigarettes"... they ("Rizla") make them and they ("Tobacconists", "Newsagents", "Supermarkets") sell them because there are a heck of a lot of people out there that want to buy them and use them, heck of a lot. @His Nibs: Why should they be prosecuted? Far higher up any list of producer prosecutions should be all weapon manufacturers (for "Murder, Death, Kills"), all alcohol manufacturers (for general breakdown of society, anti-social behaviour, ABH, GBH, "Murder, Death, Kills"), car manufacturers (for allowing people to ruin the planet, breakdown of society, take other people lives into their own hands without due care), the oil trade (how many lives lost in its name)... I could go on... the odd toke every now and then really (REALLY!) does not hurt anyone, though basing your entire existence (much like anything, alcohol, gambling, food) on something is always going to be detrimental - which is how the user is often protrayed in the media, in reality the user of marijuana is a great deal different - no doubt you work with several, if you have a job in the western world, they won't necessarily admit it to you and you won't be able to tell but it is about 1 in 3 of us, according to recent data. Oh, and you also have to remember that these papers are just "paper" and marijuana is not "controlled" across the entire globe! @Vambo: I agree on most Rizla products but Thin King Silvers are the best, surely.. any rolling papers you don't notice in the smoke are doing the job... and you won't notice these. I know what you say about the curling, I use the smalls for rollies (for which they are simply the best, no contest!)... I think I should be sponsored by them... free bike, d'you think?

Originally according to the Rizla company, they were invented for long distance lorry drivers who smoked roll-ups & didn't want to have to stop to roll up another ciggy. so they could roll longer ones.
but has anyone ever seen a lorry driver smoking one? if they did the cops would stop them in case it was a joint!

smaller papers are for cigarettes and joints. the resulting size of a joint from using a king size is rightly called a "doobie."

hmm, I think probably the same that bongs and the really long skins are for - it might be illegal, but that never seems to have stopped a market catering for a demand........
