What he said was that we will stay the course in Iraq, as in not leave until we win. This statement was spun by the press and editorialists to mean that he would not change tactics, when his speeches always said that tactics change all the time and are up to the Commanders in the field. When he said "he was never stay the course" he was solely talking about tactics. The is a lie of the media that those who oppose Bush will eat up and repeat.

boosh and his cronies will do and say anything to keep raking in the money for themselves. Iraq has no connection with 9/11, those responsible and bin laden are in Afganistan. If he really would change course and leave Iraq, it's because he's found someplace he and his cronies can make more money for themselves.

stay the course as in keep fighting in Iraq, and not leaving, just recently he has been changing strategies in Iraq to counteract the insurgents. you are listening to people who are quoting him out of context so their ratings will go up. You should listen to his speaches and not someone discussing his speeches. You get more info from the horses mouth thatn you do the rear.
