On the yahoo link and other links i cant download internet explorer 7, it says i dont meet requirements, but i hav sp2. Even the microsoft page says i dont have sp2 yet i just downloaded it.

Marissa, gave you excellent answer. I will just had to her answer. If you are running updates on a platform from Microsoft that is not valid, you will never be able to get the SP2 download.
They will check with "WGA", tool atleast four times while the program downloads and check all over again when it is ready for installation. They have become very hard core and will do everything possible to make sure that your registration key for your platform is genuine.
Sincerely hope that you key is good, because you will not get the update to IE7 or any of your critical updates.
Microsoft is considering shutting down every computer that does not have a genuine key for their platform.

I think you are meaning Internet Explorer 7. Anyway, go to Start, All Programs and click on Windows Update. Then look at your history on menu LH side. You will see there what you have updated. Do Service Pack 2 again if it is not listed in your history. And then go to Microsoft Internet Explorer website and download IE 7.

right click my computer then click properties does it say sp/2
if not download and install sp/2
