Here's a few tips to save lots of electricity.

1. Turn off lights when u r not using them.

2. Turn off TV when u r not watching. Turn it off completely, dont leave it on stand by.

3. Be quick in the shower; heating water takes electricity.

4. Turn ur heating setting to 16-17 degrees instead of 20 or so.

5. Don't leave ur computer on if u r not using it or turn off ur screen if u left a job for ur pc to do but u dont have to be there to see it.

No. 2, 4, 5 can really save a lot. Especially no. 4.

Elec saving bulbs. They look wierd. Not like ordinary ones. That saves a ton. Get on your kids about turning off lights when not in use. Candles are romantic and save electricity also. Dont use the dishwasher. Just everytime you dirty a dish clean it. Line try your clothes and dont dry them. Well if you live in the right client. Most areas have electric companies that compete for pricing and you might have more than one option.

If you need light during the day, open the windows. If you need light at night, use a flashlight(there are some flashlights that you shake or crank to get them to work and they dont need batteries. Candles also help, but some of them let off bad chemicals into the air.Instead of vaccuming, get used to sweeping and mopping(unless you have carpet).Try and get used to taking cooler showers if you have a water heater.Give you and your family a limit on the t.v and internet(unless theres homework). When you get aenough money, try buying a generator for certain things or occations.

Replace all old appliances with energy efficient ones. Keep air on 77 or higher. Turn the lights out when not needed. Common sense things will help.

STOP turning on your lights during the day. The sun is out so stop turning them on already! Open a window and stop trying to sleep with the T.v. On because you aren't even watching it your trying to sleep. That might help a little bit! lol

well for starters get light bulbs that are the most 60 watts nothing more that would lower the wattage intake. which will lower the price of the bill. and if a lights on and its not necessary close it.
