WEll I did a search for you on eBay and found out you can get on for jus over 400 bucks new. So I dont know for sure if you have been cheated. I would have to see the pic and specs to tell you if you have been cheated .. opps this laptop is used

its about $700 but if you got it customized its gonna range from 800-1000. if you feel you got cheated return it and get an hp laptop. they got great battery life and cool features.
