Small Claims Court!!!!Or Judge Judy they pay you the money if you win so you won't have to wait for your friend to pay it back.

Well if asking for it doesn't get you anywhere then you can always go knocken on his door and ask him and if he still dont have any of it tell him you want some belongings of value of his to hold on to until he pays off his debt.
Or there is always small claims court if the amount is worth it.

1st of all, write him off your "friends" list. Depending on the amount, small claims court or a civil action. You might also approach him and suggest partial payments, but this usually doesn't work for long. If he was a good friend, you wouldn't have to remind him.

If you have proof in writing then you can take him to court. If no written proof then you are out of luck!
