ok, I have a portable dishwasher that has been in storage for a while, and when I hooked it up to use it today, the water would come out of the sprayers, but with not very much force. Not even enough to clean the dishes on the bottom rack.
My faucet is all the way on, and has good pressure. Any ideas on what it could be?
I really would like to fix it myself if possible.

The 1961 answerer is right: if your water pressure is fine, you have a build-up in the machine, probably lime, and if it was in storage, non-use helped solidify the problem. You can dismantle the unit as mentioned, and soak in the de-lime solution; also, put a somewhat deep container of vinegar inside, put it through a normal wash cycle, and this will be dispelled to help dissolve the build-up inside and out. This should be part of standard maintenance every few months on every dishwasher and it also keeps the inside clean. Baking soda, done in the same manner, works to keep the inside white and new-looking longer, and you won't have to buy the commercial version of dishwasher cleaners.

The faucet pressure will determine only how long it takes to fill the dishwasher. It will have no effect on washing pressure.

Likely either buildup on the jets or the main pump has failed. I had to replace the pump on my 3 year old dishwasher a short time ago. Bit of a pain to get things apart and the new pieces in place, but works great again.

Can you remove one of the spraying arms to inspect for buildup. If that isn't the problem check the pressure coming out of the pump and go from there.

The jets that clean the dishes probably have a lime build up that needs to be cleaned out. You can buy lime deposit cleaner from your local hard ware store for this, but you will have to take off thge jets inside the washer and let them soak in solution for a bit and rinse them out and see if this solves your problem.

There is a filter ALL the way in the bottom of the tub.It may have a screw holding it in.Remove it,and check for debris.

Also, check the sprayer holes in the swing-arm for debris.
