pour some baking soda into the garbage disposal then pour a little vinagar and let it sit for like 15 minutes then run really hot water down the drain. if it is still a little stinky you can then pour some lemon jiuce down the drain. The baking soda and vinagar will clean it and the lemon juice will deodorize it. (you can do this to any drain in the house and it will keep them nice and fresh) Hope you get your cleaned as having your house smell from a stinking sink is horrible, good luck

two ways.

1. take a orange cut it up in slices and put in disposal
this will give it a orange ordor.

2. same as above only use a lemon.

hint: take a whole potato cut in quarters and put in disposal, this will keep disposal clean. like brushing your teeth everday.

hopes this helps

Your disposal has a rank order due to the build up of "gunk" on the bottom side of the black rubber gasket and upper part of the disposal that doesn't grind the food you put in it.

In order to rid your disposal of the smell and get rid of the gunk, over fill it with ice cubes. that will also help to sharpen the blades.

Once that is done, lift out the rubber gasket and scrup the underside of it.

Run your disposal with some coffee grind (to loosen the dirt) or ice cubes. For the odor, you can choose either the orange/lemon or bleach method.
