where can i get the plank and have it engraved
where can i get one ready made?

Home Depot, Lowes or any of your larger chain hardware stores should have just such items on hand, depending on location of course as where I am it's getting on to winter time and thus not prime rope swing weather. As to the engraved part of your question, that's a bit more difficult not to mention expensive. Besides, engraving is inviting the possibility of splinters in places best left unmentioned, painful to have and maybe just as uncomfortable for the one who has to pull the sliver out.

Any major home improvement store.
They also sell replacement swings and other
accessories.
We got a nylon rope and we got a old used tire
drilled a hole in the top and in the bottom of the tire (drain hole).
Threaded the rope through the top hole, knotted it.
Instant, cheap tree swing, that's what I grew up with.
