I know the very basic steps, but having trouble with turns and more complicated steps. My real instructor moves fast and my whole class is latino, so they already know a bit...why my class is called beginner is beyond me, but I'm keeping up somewhat.

go to http://www.ballroomdancers.com/Dances/dance_overview.asp?Dance=SAL- they have steps explained and demonstrated slowly. You might also look for a studio near you on that website directory listing if you need more basic class at this point.

You can buy DVDs on www.dancevision.com or www.danceshopper.com or on www.dancesport.uk.com But I think you will benefit much more from a more basic class than from a DVD.
