The other day when I was babysitting the kid spent like 5 minutes in the bathroom (no joke) and then when he finally came out he was like "the toilet is clogged". I had no idea what to do. Do you plunge the toilet? If so, how? Or should I just leave it? I decided to just leave it for the parents to do.

First you plunge it to try to loosen the clog. Sometimes if it's stubborn, you can flush while you continue to plunge after that. But be careful, if it's close to overflowing you might end up with a mess. Alternatively if it's still stuck, you can leave it for awhile until the toilet paper starts to dissolve some and try again.

It is not in your job description to supervise a child while he is "doing his business"; assuming he is old enough to go to the bathroom by himself. So you are not responsible to fix this, in my opinion. Let the parents know what happened, and they should teach the kid not to store his toys in the toilet. However, the decent thing to do would be to make an attempt to fix the situation by trying to plunge the toilet. With a kid like that, I hope they have a second bathroom...

Put the round part of the plunger over the hole at the bottom of the toilet. Push down on the plunger until it stops, then bring it back up to the starting position. Continue at a vigrous pace until you feel the water start to go down.

If the water in the bowl is low you may need to press slightly on the flushing handle to let a little water in or else the water will splash on you. nobody wants to be splashed with poopie water

placed a plastic trash bag over your hand and get rid of the turkey. The bread will dissolve and then plunge and flush. turn the water off for the rest room so it would not overflow. Pour a bucket of warm water down it at as quickly as and do it back. If the water is going down then turn the water back on and flush. it may be ok.

yeah, just take a plunger and put it over the hole, push it up and down. soon the water will just suck down and the tank will refill the toilet.
