Yes, they were married for years and their divorce made all of the celebrity tabloids with big headlines. From what I read, it was a nasty, name calling, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, break up.

Clint Eastwood & Sondra Locke were never married. They met on the set of "The Outlaw Josey Wales" in 1975 were together for 13 years. They split in 1988

They were a long time item but to my knowledge never married. I think the split around 1986, because i read/heard somewhere that she was supposed to have been in his movie "Heartbreak Ridge" and he replaced her with a woman who went on to be another long term relationship. and Locke was as pissed about losing that part as being replaced by the woman who took the part. Also w/o him, her career never really went anywhere.
