hi - that's a classic scam - you need to ignore anything and anyone who offers you anything for free. There's just "no free lunch" as the saying goes...

Go to http://www.snopes.com and search on Nigeria - you'll get a eyeful ;>)

If you give these morons any personal information you are going to be in for a lot of problems. Sounds like you have already given them you telephone number. I wouldn't give them anything else and I would promptly notify the authorities. If you look closely at these scams the originating email address is always some fictitious free mail address, most of these solicitations that I receive are hotmail but they could use any free mail, made up address. If these guys were legit they would have an email address from their respective company or bank. DON'T FALL FOR THIS you could ruin your credit and lose everything in your bank account.

My sincere advise is beware of such mails. Whole world is trying to trap people somehow and getting their debit/credit account details so that they can take away all the money.

One thing is, if at all they want to give you millions of dollars and pounds do any body go by cheap way of informing by email. that too you have never asked about that money.

Let us not run for free money which may cost a lot in the long run.

if you have a friend in england ask them to check it out for you
but SAFELY with lots of people with them just in case
DO NOT under any circumstance give away private information or dont bother travelling there if it might be just nothing
my best advice is to IGNORE this

my friend got called several times to ask her if she wanted a greencard... if it was the government they wouldnt CALL her to ask her for it especially not several times....if they call you again its not worth it they just want to get you for some reason dont you think that if you said no or hesitated the first time they'd give up because they get to keep the money? why would they chase you to get the money?
