Who do you cheer for? Do you have a fun rivalry between the two of you? Or has it caused real friction?

My bf is the biggest Sens fan ever cause before he used to live in Owen Sound. I, being a Leaf fan, love it because we always get togethere when they are playing eachother!

I'm a Canes fan. My g/f is a Wings fan. The only friction was when the Wings came here last season, and the Canes beat them. She was so pissed, not at me, but that the Wings lost the only time she gets to see them in person. With the new screwy schedule, they never come here but once every 2 or 3 years.

At first I loved the Peguines (because Mario Lemue is so hot) and hubby loves the Devils. But since Lemue retired I am a devils fan because I always thought they were the better team, I just liked Lemue. Excuse me if I spelled his last name wrong. And no, it never caused any friction, My husband got a kick out of it.

My "partner" and I both cheer for the Canucks. I by default as I was born here...in reality I am a lapsed B's fan. Her Nux fever is less so now that Pavel is gone she cannot muster the same enthusiasm.
It's hard cheering for mediocrity though.

I love the Bruins but my wife doesn't really like hockey. She has fun at the games though. She does cheer for whoever the home team is unless we go to road Bruins game.

We both cheer for Toronto but I would have to say that I cheer louder and am more of a fan then he is. It's kinda funny cause he was the one that go me to watch hockey and now I love it more then he does.

Yes. I'm a Pens and Red Wings fan but my husband likes the Flames and Avs although he isn't a big hockey nut like me. I think he only likes the Flames because in his hockey game, they are kicking *** in the playoffs.

My boyfriend was the one who introduced me to hockey, because he used to play. We're both Stars fans and we try to never miss a game. Now he's starting to regret introducing me to hockey, because I'm such a huge fan!

I am a Leafs and LA fan and my gfriend doesn't like NHL but she lives in LA.
